Book It

OK, this is just the first time I've ever done anything like this, so I hope it works.
I think I put this in the Linkz things, but here it goes again.
What are you using for January?
I'm using Borders, Bindings & Edges by Sally Collins
My Quilty Fun needs to be finished
I want to add something to this quilt to make it rectangular and then add a border to it.
Hoping this book helps me.
What are you doing?

I am going to try the pattern Ruff around the edges as a baby quilt for my expected granddaughter. It involves applique over a pieced background and I do not know if I can do it with these hands. I know for sure that I am not going to try the machine method I used for the pinwheel/elephant quilt finished recently. i would rather buy them a quilt than do that

Firstly, thank you Meloney for deciding to suggest and take on this challenge - I really appreciate it - because it does take time and effort to make these things work.

Secondly - my project! :) "Poppy" table runner - 67in x 16in (170cm x 41cm). The book is More William Morris by Michele Hill - pub by C&T Publishing. the leaves and flowers are quite detailed, with many small parts. I'll link my blog when I've taken photos. Hugs, Andrea
