What's up?

I've not posted in a while.

Today is the first day I've had time to do much of anything that isn't required.

My husband got ill in late June, and we found out he had cancer in the liver.

So, my time has been spent with him.

He had his liver resection mid August, and he is now in recovery.

The recovery could be a long time, but friends and family have been gently reminding me I needed to sew for my sanity.

So, I have started to sew again.

It is slow, but it feels good to do something.

I finished one more column on this T-shirt quilt.
Two more columns to go.
If I can even get one shirt added every day, I will be happy.

Finally found the white background to use on this memory quilt.
I'll start sewing parts together and see where it gets me.

Please keep prayers coming for a full recovery.

I need to work on making more of the strips.

2. Work on Rob's Heart quilt

August Progress

  My to-do-list for 2023

I've updated this listing with only the things not yet accomplished.

1. I need to cut more baby clothing and even out the boy and girl fabric. I made her two quilts with her twin's clothing. I am in the process of making her one with both boy and girl clothing in it. I use this one as a leader/ender, and it is growing. I've run out of the girl fabrics and need to cut more.

2. Donna's memory quilt or two, depending on how it goes together. I think I will be doing hers in a heart shape.

3. I'd like to make some memory teddy bears from Rob, Lillian, and Donna's leftovers.

4. Driesbach T-shirt quilt.

One of the Four columns is finished.

5. Hawaiian pants for Ashley

6. Off Kilter

7. Christmas Panel - Winter's Eve

I need to find the finished photo, but it is done.

I use this one as a leader/ender, and it is growing. I've run out of the girl fabrics and need to cut more.
