Progress

Sparkling Sampler "Pieced" blocks are done.
I still have a couple of blocks cut out.
I'm not sure I'm going to get much done tomorrow.

Triactic Postcards are done, but I don't have the envelopes to mail them in or the right postage.
So, I'll mail when we return on Saturday.
Sparkling Sampler Block A are done in  pink.
Fancy Fox is done.
I had trouble understanding the pattern, and think it was all my brain.
So, I adjusted it and it will become a mug rug for DD's dresser.
Made a few more coasters.
I have many more of these to make.

Yesterday

I had to clean out the little machine
Look what a mess it was.
I don't use this machine much, so it needed it bad.
Fixed the block
Another set of coasters
10  stars and 10 25 patches.
Started block F of the sparkling sampler.
I think there are 4 pink stars.

End of the day

Center of the Memory quilt is together.
Didn't bring the border fabric, so it waits until I return home.
Last 2 days I've finished 10 stars.
Now to keep working on more stars while working on other things.
Working on Sparkling Sampler Block L.
So many pieces.....

Good night.

Memory Quilt & more

Memory Quilt pieces made
Waiting for reply on the order of them.
I left the border fabrics at home, so I'll need to finish next week.
Irish Stars progress.
It goes slow because of the cutting.
I only have 17 more of the 25 patches to do and lots more stars.
One set of the coasters done today.

3. Baby Clothing Quilt

Packed and ready to work on next week.
It's just HST, so I'll also use this for leader ender when I need an easy one.

5. Prep Winter Solstice for trip

I'm not taking the blocks because it will require more cutting and I'll do that when I return.

6. Pack for trip
I'm packed, except for maybe a project or two that will just jump in my bag.
I have too much already, but I get bored easily.
Sometimes I need immediate gratification.

Strips are in the baggage and the instructions found.

Update

The week has been packing and cleaning.
Finished this table runner on the way to the game today.
We lost.
I'll quilt it when I return home.
I need to pull the one just like it and see how close I can get to the quilting of it.
cutting table is cleaned off.

Made these pincushions on the way to the game.
Need the center of both of them.
Will wait until I come home.
My basket that I put pieces in as I'm working is cleaned out.
Everything put away, until I started to fill it again. :)
Loaded Lana's quilt.
Not a very good photo.
Have one pass done.
I doubt it gets done before we leave in the morning, but it is started and that is a good thing.
Pressing table is cleaned off.
Underneath is organized.
Yes, it really is.
The bags are Quilts of Valor waiting to be quilted.
The blue one is done already.

No, the room is not the way I would like 100%, but it is better to come back to this than the way it was.
It's time to go through my magazines and books again.

I also need to figure out how to organize and store the jewelry making beads and miscellaneous stuff.

I'll be quilting away while we are gone.
I don't know that I'll actually finish much of anything, but....I will be getting closer to some of those big finishes.

Planning

Not much sewing going on this week.
I've been packing.
Everything is ready, except for the Irish Stars.
I'm going through the scraps to only take the pieces large enough to get a star out of or 2.5" squares.
ü  Baby clothing quilt – stabilize the clothes, cut if I want, but the stabilizing is what stops me on this project.
1.    Irish Stars –The cutting takes the most time. The blocks go together quickly.  Sort color for sizes that would work.
a.    Blue
b.    Green
c.    Purple
d.    White
ü  Sparkling Sampler already cut and bagged to sew as leader enders for Irish Stars.
ü  Thread catcher
ü  Zippers and fusible batting for purse
ü  Winter Solstice two blocks
ü  Kleenex holder makings for Christmas Use leftover Christmas fabrics
ü  Postcards (18)
ü  Triatic Color theory – 17 November
ü  Wreaths – 1 Dec
ü  Mittens/Gloves – 8 Dec – mitten/Santa fabric
ü  Winter/Christmas – 15 Dec – cowboy fabric – need heat n bond
ü  Your Choice – snowman fabric  - 22 Dec
ü  Postcard stabilizer
ü  Make 18 postcard backs ( use the fabric for the stamp)
ü  Fabrics to work with
üChristmas
üRed
üBlue
ügreen
ü  Memory Quilt (If I don’t have it together already)
ü  Hawaiian Applique to take on the ride up to practice hand quilting
ü  T-shirt quilt and the liquid stabilizer (can’t think of the name right now) – I’d like to get them stabilized and ready to cut out. I also need to find a gray to frame all the shirts. Most of them are black and there is a black shadow. I think there needs to be a contrast to them.
ü  My new project is to make a Christmas countdown door quilt for Ashley that will allow her to have a treat every day. I’ve got ideas, and will need the fabric with me.  A folding fabric project as my November learning
ü  30 sets of Christmas coasters. These are easy and I have enough Christmas fabric that it won’t be a problem. I just need to get the coordinated pieces together.
ü  Crocheting
ü  Trimming HST
ü  Happiness is Quilting to a top
ü  Clemens T-shirt quilt
ü  Ann’s 2009 Mystery
ü  Box for car

I do have one cart downstairs and the sewing machine.
I think I might be able to consolidate a little here.

This is why I've been a little quiet this week.
