Woodsy Wonders

The one which has the book pages in it.
The one that was from leftover pieces.

Harry Loves Alice

Just finished quilting my Harry Loves Alice BOM.
I was lucky enough to test it for Tammy.

This is the last quilt of my own that I'm quilting right now.
I still have one more waiting.

Off to do Beverli's quilt.

I'm not around much right now and have 1400 emails to catch up on, but I'm feeling the need to get this quilting done and ready for binding.

3. Digitize on tablet

4. Sort miscellaneous quilt parts into usable groups
Done.
Lots of baggies with parts in them.
I now will need to figure out how to use them.

5. Work on hand quilting projects.
This didn't work in the truck because it was too bouncy.
I could barely read, so a needle was a no go.

Instead, I quilted these quilts when I came home.

Finished the binding on these two.

Design Wall Monday

I'm linking to Small Quilts Doll Quilt's Design Wall Monday and Monday Makings.
My patriotic blocks are coming together.
It takes some time to figure out what pieces you are going to actually use in each block.
I've not had to make any extra pieces, but think that is coming to an end.

This is the leader/ender and I have not sewn on my DSM much this week.
Being on vacation didn't allow me to use the machine until we got home.
The Stockyard in Dallas, TX
The Dallas World Aquarium
Medieval Times
When we got home, I decided to not sew, but to quilt, so things went on the long arm.
I decided the weekend was for my quilts.
First, I quilted a quilt for a Lana, who is going to New Mexico for a baby shower.
Next came my Woodsy Wonders #1.
Next was Woodsy Wonders #2.
Next was the table runner for our Guild Challenge.
This is due in April.
I even got the binding on while we drove to Austin for a High School reunion planning meeting.
The one I didn't get finished was Harry Loves Alice.
I'm trying out the quilting pattern for the next quilt I need to quilt for Beverli.
I think two more passes will have it complete.
I also finished this binding.
I quilted this on the DSM before we left for our vacation.

Stash Report

I was on vacation, so I don't have a completion.
I could have put the binding on a couple of quilts, but decided to continue to long arm my stuff.
I need to quilt for someone else tomorrow.

I did the job of trimming HST while in the hotel room at night.
This is a job I seem to not do much, so it is great to make a tiny dent.

quilting

I have a quilt I need to quilt for a friend, but....
I decided to spend the weekend getting some of my own quilts quilted and start on hers on Monday.
This is the leftover pieces from Woodsy Wonder.
These just didn't fit well in the other quilt.

My guild challenge table runner.
I decided to go ahead and quilt it on the long arm.
I practiced the quilting for the larger quilt for my friend.

Now to get the binding on these quilts.
I think that makes 1 table runners and two quilts to bind.

Woodsy Wonders

I wish I could find the book for this panel.
If anyone knows of a spot for older children's books, please let me know.
I just did a quick meander on this one.
I have another made from the leftover pieces.

Sorting of a miscellaneous bag

I'm not sure why all these are in one bag, but I decided I needed to organize them to actually figure out how to use them.
Lots of baggies.
I will not add the individual bags to my UFO list until the end of the year.
I hope to get most of them made into something, or used with another project.

Lana's Quilt

Isn't this adorable?
It is a baby quilt for a great grandson of Lana's.
I did a quick loop quilting.
She needs it to be done done by the end of next week when she leaves.

Stash Report

2. WITB
Had two of my bags that I sometimes use to go through my purse, the car, etc.
This one had lots of magazines and fun things in it, along with filing.
I found all the items DD got from all over on for her Gold Award.
Just one of the letters.
Seems I'm having some trouble with my camera. :(

I actually finished all the filing in the container by my chair.
Everything is filed.
I do have my lists that I need to figure out how to arrange them so they are not clutter, but can be seen to be worked on.
That will be when we return from Dallas.

Generally my flat surfaces are not ones to stay empty.
Why? Who knows.
I would like us to work on the flat surfaces this week.
Show before and after photos.

I've been working on the flat surfaces, but when I think I have one cleared off, I find that I put more stuff on it. ;(
I have not idea why I can't let a flat surface be empty.
I'll have to work on that through the year.
