Cold

What a difference a day makes.

Yesterday                                        Today

I had internet problems last night.
I took an English Paper Piecing class with Lisa Louise Adams.
We made a little bowl.
Mine is on the upper left side.
Most are flat because of traveling home with them.

This is my finished bowl.
I was able to finish it before going into festival.

I was close to the front of the line.

My damage from the vendors.
Mostly EPP and tools for EPP.

I am taking a sewing class from Gyleen Fitzgerald today.

It's a sad day because my Dad went to be in heaven in 2013 on this day.

Miss you Dad.

Second day of class

This is what Houston looks like today.

I had a class with Karen Kay Buckley today.
It is the first time I've tried to applique this way.
I really liked it.
This is what I bought, or what Randy bought me for Christmas .
This is what I finished today.

Baby Girl Clothing Quilt Finished

Finished the binding on the baby girl clothing quilt.
This is showing on a king-sized bed.
It is finished except for the label.

Design Wall Monday

I'm linking to Small Quilts Doll Quilt's Design Wall Monday and Monday Makings.

Not really a design wall, but I'm away at the Quilt Festival and this is what I'm working on.

My first try at English Paper Piecing.

First day of classes

My 8 blocks from the Charlotte Angotti class.

I bought a couple of patterns from my diamond English Paper Piecing class, one being the hexgon class that I didn't go to.

This is how far I got with the diamonds.
Lots of good information in the class.
WE shall see how this all goes.

Guild Challenge

Our guild had a challenge last month where we brought in 3 FQs and someone else makes something for us.

We bring them to the November meeting.
My partner had the two greens and one pink FQ.
I added in the poinsettia fabric.
I wanted to do something other than a bag.
That seems to be what I've made before, so I made:
One hexagon table topper
One pincushion
One Kleenex cover
One mini thread catcher
A set of coasters
and
A self-lined bag that I put everything into.

I hope she likes it when she sees it next month.

Sunday Stash Report

I've sewed every day, but sometimes not for a long time.
I was out of the house 3 days this week, and that makes the progress slower.
