CIL

This Covered In Love quilt is large and I don't have a space large enough for it.
It is done, now to find a box that it will fit in.

Seeing all of the quilters that have make quilts to donate to wonderful causes helps spread the joy of making quilts for such projects to other quilters. I for one had been so busy working full time, family quilts, home renovations going on etc that I was an ‘outsider looking in’. Lurking so to speak until my time would come that I could add making quilts for donations. I retired after 53 years of nursing to end up having a few injuries which set me back for two years. Now, I am finally 1. Have the time. 2. Am all healed up so I can sew again. I signed up for our local Adult Education program which is running a 10 week day session of 4 hours. Yahoo, I have already cut and prepared 2 quilts to start these sessions... yes for community donations. And starting in January I already signed up for the Quilts of Valor sessions at the Adult Ed. Thought it would be fun to spend time with other quilters. I even treated myself to a quilters’ trolley for my machine and all quilting supplies. Very excited as I am about to start this new journey,
