   My to-do-list for 2024

2023 Review

It is fun to look back and see how productive I've been in years past.

I've only started tracking new starts in the last few years.

I'm amazed at how many new things I do start.

Number of UFOs done by year.

2017 – 48

2018 – 46

2019 – 42

2020 – 43

2021 – 42

2022 – 14

2023 – 27

I've had a slow couple of years.

I need to focus on UFOs and see what things I can finish and donate in 2024

Number of 2023 New Starts

2021 - 22, 2 not completed (91% completed)

2022 - 34. 7 not completed (79% completed)

2023 - 33, 7 not completed (79% completed)

Number of Stashbuster 2023 Numbers Completed

2023 - 24 possible, 17 not completed (29% completed)

Even though this percentage is low, this is a fun game to play, and I enjoy seeing what is in my UFO cabinet.

I would love to hear what everyone else is doing.

2023 Challenges

Overall, I will say I'm happy with my success in these challenges.

2024 is another year, and I'm praying I'll be able to complete more of the challenges.

I will be trying to focus on UFOs, but I have a sewing program where I'll be doing samples, and there will be new starts.

I also plan to test some patterns again.

I doubt I will finish anything tonight to add to the list, so I'll post this now.

Stash Report 12/31/2023

This is our last stash report for 2023

I did better than I thought I would, but I did buy fabric on sale, so it reduced some of my gain.

I love the new fabric, so I'm going to call $5.99 fabric a win.

quilt paint create links to all our stash reports.

I still have projects for others; some will be finished in 2023, and some will not:
1. Memory Quilt for Donna
2. Memory Teddy Bears for Donna
3. Scrappy Habitat for Humanity (this one needs to be unsewn before it can be finished)
4. Memory Teddy Bears for Rob
5. T-shirt quilt for Meredith
6. Guild teal and brown quilt for Quiltfest
7. T-shirt pillows for Lillian

Everything I worked on this week has been small finishing projects.
I made binding for Habitat for Humanity.
I made name tags for Stockings.
I quilted a number of items but did not finish them.

Final Countdown with Prairie Moon

I think I am behind on organizing for 2024, but no better place to start than with the

Prairie Moon Final Days countdown.

Task One is

Work on the fabric/scrap organization.

My scrap organization is fairly in order.

I have some items in the bin where I toss things while working on a project and that needs to be sorted into the scrap bins.

My wall of sorted-by-color scraps all fit into their drawers, so I'm okay.
I do think I need to work on a full scrap quilt and see if I can reduce the fabric in the drawers.

I have two more drawers for white and black under my long arm.

My plan is to work on emptying the bin today.

FAB 4 12/25/2023

  Fab 4

This week:

Apparently, I can't make a list of only 4 items. LOL

1. Fix T-shirt Pillow

I need to add a zipper to this pillow to fix it.

2. Finish Lillian's Baby Quilt Surprise

I have it almost quilted, and will need binding.

3. Finish binding Covered in Love Quilt

I'm still working on this one.

My hands are giving me trouble, so it is taking time.

4. Make MAM (Michelle, Ashley, Meloney) Block 1 and clarify the pattern.

I think it might become MAMN because Nancy wants to join in on the challenge.
