I took one of the boxes out and deconstructed the clothing.

Finished or not Friday 3/29/2024

"Finished or not Fridays" is new to me.

1. I have a progressive quilt I started in January 2020.
It is ready to quilt

2. I must also cut a peach and green quilt for more variety.
I am delaying on this one and have no idea why.

DONE 3. The Challenge quilt is done

4. The test quilt is at the top stage.
I can't show photos.
It is ready to load on the long arm.

4. The UFO I got to the top stage at Retreat is quilted bound.
It's not my favorite, but it has two UFOs in it.

Two UFOs in one

I had some red and black pinwheels at my retreat and a red and black panel.

The ladies at my table convinced me to put them all together.

So, I did.

I am donating this to our guild's Kids Quilt program.

They like the binding done by machine.

I think my binding looks like I'm drunk,

If they have someone who will take it out and fix it, that would be great.

Otherwise, it will stay as it is.

This is two UFOs off my list!

Challenge Quilt

I do challenges with my DD and Michelle.
This is my challenge quilt.

Ashley is still working on putting her top together.
She does have to work, so it interferes with her quilting.

Michelle finished her challenge tonight also.

A point to be made here is each of the 12 blocks was made from the same block with four fabrics.
The only difference is in the placement of the fabrics.
It is amazing how color placement makes all the difference in the world.

Michelle and Ashley are new quilters, so this was an interesting challenge to do with them.

Design Wall Monday 3/25/2024

Small Quilts and Doll Quilts Design Wall Monday

One of my design walls has a panel quilt.

I am making flowers for the sides.

I used them as leader/enders on a test quilt I had to have done by today.

Now I need to trim the corners, press, and get those flowers sewn together.

The other quilt is my daughter's version of the challenge quilt.

The small peach and green block is sitting to the left.

I need to get that quilt going.

Everything on my second design wall is UFOs.

One is a strange set of UFOs, and the plan was to make a pillow.

My only concern is whether anyone will want it.

The Blue one is a placemat made from snowflake names.
