To Do List August/September/October 2024

  My to-do-list for 2024

It's been a slow month for completions.

The NBAQG QuiltFest took up most of my time.

Since that time, I have accomplished zero in September, and doubt there will be much more in October.

1. Donna's memory quilt or two, depending on how it goes together.

I have the second box and have started deconstructing it.
I think I have decided on at least one of the patterns.

3. I'd like to make some memory teddy bears from Rob, Lillian, and Donna's leftovers.

Lillian's bears are cut.
I need to mix the two fabrics to mix and match the bears.
They will give me one more shirt next month to make the 10th bear.

I mixed up the fabrics and started one bear, but have not finished anything.

4. Wedding quilt
(This one may be delayed for a bit)

I have 5 of the one block done.
I need to make 4 of the second block to ensure this will work.
I don't know how big it will become.

5. Ashley's High School Graduation Quilt

All the T-shirts are deconstructed.

9. At least one of the Stashbuster UFO numbers each month (12/24 in the year)

Finished 8/16 (50%)

March #2 5-Pocket Pouches

I'm using these as leaders/enders to prepare all the pockets, and then I'll put them all together at once.

March #53 Christmas Trees
This will have more mug rugs made.
It really isn't Christmas trees.
I won't remove it from the list until I've used all the paper-pieced printouts.

April #19 is Bench Pillows/Door decorations/swatter sweaters

May #11 Ashley's HS Organization/Miscellaneous T-shirt Quilt

June #3 A Heritage Quilt
I'll take it with me on vacation and finish cutting.
Had a problem, so it is still not cut out.

July #10 Ashley Grocery Bags
I made lots of these, and then Ashley gave me more to make.

August #6 America's Pride
This is an applique project.
The applique is traced on the fusible.
There will be hand stitching after everything is fused.
I'll be taking this on the vacation.

August #34 Butterfly Bliss Panel
The panel is large and has been trimmed.
The border fabrics are picked, and some are cut.
I hope this one can be finished this month.
It wasn't and I am about ready to put it away until another time.

10. Complete 80% (9-10) of the All People Quilt Challenge projects.

Un-Finished 7/14 (50%)

March
#2 5-pocket Pouch
#53 Christmas Trees

April
#19 Bench Pillow/Monthly items (partially done)

May
#11 Ashley High School Organization & Misc Quilt

June
#3 A Heritage Quilt

July
#10 Ashley T-shirt Grocery Bags
Three more to make.
A black stabilizer was needed to finish this UFO.
But now DD added two more shirts to the pile.
See above.
Apparently, I need to make one more and I'll be done.

August
#8 Sweater Swatters
There are 12 of these, and some are done and some are not.

September
DONE in previous months #7 Jacob's Ladder

October
DONE in previous months #6 Flamingo

I will need to see if I have anything that will work in my stash.

DONE 5. Embroidered towels - 2

Life has taken a turn, and the planning for each week has gone by the wayside.
I have zero time for myself, so I have no idea how I will accomplish anything for a while.
I keep trying, but.....

quilt paint create links to all our stash reports.

I am not sewing much.

My husband is going through chemo, and the amount of doctor appointments is high.

I am trying to do something.
