African Fabric

Casey, a friend of  mine from DD's grade school days, gave me some African fabric.

Oh my goodness.

It barely fits on my design wall.

There are two of these.

I will need to do a whole cloth quilt out of this one.

I just don't know how to quilt it.

Any ideas?

They look like place mats to me.

Isn't this beautiful?

If I added a black border and I could figure out how to quilt it, it would be a gorgeous quilt.

Here it is in the basket that it came in.

It is not something that is helping my stash busting, but oh it is beautiful.
