JoAnn's rail fence done

The yellow and green rail fence is quilted. Well, this was more of an effort than it needed to be. When I loaded and rolled the quilt, the backing was not long enough. It was very short to begin with, but I had hoped it would be OK. Well, I was wrong. So, I had to unload it, cut off some of the sides and piece to the bottom. It turned out OK, but with VERY little leftover.

Now, here is her next quilt. I am at a loss on how to quilt it. Any suggestions? The backing has leaves on it.

So, while I wait for inspiration, I'm going to go on and quilt another quilt.

I have just finished making binding for the QWLs and that box is taped and ready to mail tomorrow. Yea!!!!

I put the binding on by machine on the Feathered Star -- now to finish it by hand as I have the time, probably at Karate tomorrow night.

Something swirling with movement, like a windrose symbol?

Hi Mel, beautiful as always. did you say there are leaves on the back of the quilt?
perhaps use those as a guide to quilt the front-a leaf motif all over
