Well, this is not quilting related, but I'm so proud of my DD.
She has received her final approval for her Girl Scout Gold Award - Stand Up & Grow
This is the YouTube she lead to creation.
She is now completely done with her High School projects.
On to a new chapter of her life in Social Work.
I am so proud of her and her accomplishments.
Way to GO!

Huge CONGRATS!!! Just this morning I had a moment when I remembered all my little Girl Scouts singing "Make new friends but keep the old. Some are silver and the others gold." P.S. If it wasn't for Scouts, Mel and I would never have met. She's definitely one of my gold friends.
I remember sitting in the training room looking at my quilting book and you starting up the conversation. We've been gold friends since that time, many years ago. We've shared trips to Houston Quilt Festival and much more.
You had on a t-shirt that had some quilt-related design on it and I asked if you were a quilter. Later I realized that was a classic Bill Engvall "Here's your sign" moment on my part. LOL
