Judy L has us listing what we want to do for the month and then reporting on how we did.
I've not done this in awhile, but wanted to see if I can get my list going.
1. Teacher gifts -- 11 in total
2. Sew the bonus HST quilt on my curtain together
3. Finish QST for the batik quilt on my design wall
4. Finish testing quilt (I can't show this photo)

UFO updates
OK, so the last 6 months have been limited to what I've accomplished. I was thinking about my UFOs for next year and decided to look at my progress.
If I were to start today for next year's UFOs, I would have 122 UFOs still on my listing. As always, that could mean many more projects completed because each of my UFOs seem to create more than one quilt/item. I have 3 that are ready to quilt. 2 of them are wanting hand quilting and I don't know how to do that. I have a Craftsy class I could take and learn, but I find I learn better in person. So, I have 125 UFOs on my main list for 2014. I could get a couple done this month, but I'm not going to stress myself out for that one.
I completed 34 UFOs during 2013 (really only 6 months of 2013). A number of those were orphan blocks that because pillows for teachers. They are in a good place now and out of my house. :) I have some quilts sitting around waiting for those in need. I don't normally have any laying around, so this is a first for me.
Before the end of the year I will put my UFO listing on my blog so I can see how it decreases during 2014.
Now, off to quilt the quilt I already quilted and unstitched. Baptist Fans are not the pattern to unstitch!

Stash Report
Even though I've not used any fabrics since September, I'm going to start reporting again. Maybe that will help me get back in the swing of things. I've not touched that machine since September, no wonder I've been feeling out of sorts.
Mom is still in the hospital, but she seems to be doing much better. Hopefully she will be able to be back to normal and can be home again. Time will tell. Every time she talks about Dad's death, she breaks down again.
Used this Week: 0.00 yards
Used year to Date: 142.50 yards
Added this Week: 0.0 yards
Added Year to Date: 51.75 yards (mostly backings)
Monthly usage: 0.00 yards
Net Used for 2013: 91.75 yards

T-shirt quilts
My friend, Tammy, came through again. This is the double sided T-shirt quilt that I just quilted for her. Tammy sent me photos of it so I could share it with y'all.

Slow
It is cold over here!!! 37 degrees is cold for Central Texas. Been having lots of family things going on, mostly in the middle of the night. :( Not a fun time when Mom calls EMS because she is cold. :( She is beginning to grieve more, so that will mean we have to watch all that is going on.
I did quilt a quilt for Tammy, but didn't take a photo. It was a double sided T-shirt quilt. It is back in her hands, so that is good.
I used my gift card from winning a UFO Challenge to buy fabric for a quilt I'm testing (I can't show you the pattern or material).
I finally finished un-sewing the baby quilt and now I need to quilt it again. I'll not take out Baptist Fan quilting again. LOL
I have a robot quilt to quilt also. Between loading, quilting and cutting, I hope to get some cleaning done.

November
November brings a new chapter in our lives. A chapter without my Father with us.
Last year
In Albuquerque when Jon was little
Their 50th anniversary -- they made it to 63 years together.
My favorite of Little Miss Ashley flirting with Grandfather.
The holidays and life won't be the same, but there are sooooo many happy memories with my Dad, Ray Mitchell!
I am focusing on getting myself back into the studio, because it will make me feel better. I know Mom will need some help, but I'm needing some peace and quiet in my studio creating and grieving.
Maybe Dad be enjoying all the music in heaven. We love you and miss you.

No sewing
It has been a sad month. Dad is not doing well at all. He goes on Hospice tomorrow and Mom talked me into agreeing to bring him home for hospice. I pray it is not too hard on her during that time.
Homecoming is tomorrow for DD's school. Our first attempt at making a mum. It is too big, but everyone tells me bigger is better. So, there you go. I had to trim it to make it acceptable and hope it doesn't get in the way too much.

Sorry about the side-wise photo.
So, that's the only creative thing I've done all month long. I truly need to focus and do something to help me.
