Finished or Not Fridays 4/12/2024

       "Finished or not Fridays"

FINISHED 1. I have a progressive quilt I started in January 2020.
It is FINISHED!

2. I must also cut a peach and green quilt for more variety.
I am delaying on this one and have no idea why.
I did make 4 more blocks, but I don't have a photo.

FINISHED 3. The test quilt is at the top stage.
I can't show photos.
I am almost done with the binding.

FINISHED 4. The flamingo panel is quilted and bound

5. My other project is from my guild, which needs to be finished for the Emporium during our quilt show.

I'm working on it, but two of the blocks were not the right size.
Could this be why it was never finished by the original owner?

Birthday Shopping trip

I was given a shopping trip for my birthday.
How do you turn that down, even if you have enough?
I decided to make this bunny pattern.
They look like peeps to me.
The black and white background is going to be a fun addition.
I need a sample tote bag, and I wanted it red for a friend.
My favorite quilt shop does not have so much red fabric, so I came up with this.
There were 3-yard bundles where you bought two and got one free.
I like all these fabrics and I have a couple 3 yard quilts I need to make.
I fell in love with this green fabric and found a favorite lavender print.
I'm unsure what I will make, but it will be adorable.
I probably don't need these, but I was going to make another project bag, so....
I have a kit coming to make a butterfly quilt using this and a curved ruler.
I can't wait to see how this ruler is different from others.

So, I would say my birthday shopping trip was fun.
Thank you DH!

Design Wall Monday 4/8/2024

Small Quilts and Doll Quilts Design Wall Monday

One of my design walls has two of the same panel quilts.

I've just started figuring out how to border it.

The other quilt is my daughter's version of the challenge quilt.

The small peach and green blocks sitting to the left now have 5 blocks.

I need to get that quilt going.

The other design wall is a guild donation quilt.
I am in the process of sewing the rows together.
