Stash Report 9/4/2022

I had a better week.

I'm not going to catch up on all the weeks I missed reporting, but these are the new figures.

quilt paint create links to all our stash reports.

From My Carolina Home is doing a challenge on how much we use each month.

I increased how much I wanted to have as a net number for 2022.

I increased it to 250 yards.

I have donated 137 yards, so 250 isn't all that amazing.

I did send a box of scraps to someone who asked for them.
I told them they were small, but when they thanked me, they said most of it would go into the trash.
Wow, I guess I won't send anything else to them.
I use that size all the time.
But, on the bright side, I have a little more room in a drawer and could add to the usage number.

Quilting is more fun than Housework has us working on scraps.

These are some of the postcards I made in the last couple of weeks.

Everything came out of the scrap drawers.

Blue Floral UFO

Finished this old UFO.
You can tell from that pink and dusty blue that is a few years ago that it was started.
It's small, but is done.

Update

I did quilt some this week.

Well, I quilt most days, but I am definitely not as productive as I have been.

I'm not sure why, but I think it is mental stress from family issues.

I'm working my way to figure out what I can do to accomplish something.

I made some postcards and had fun doing that.
I have a few more to do to be ahead of the game.

I quilted a test quilt that I can't show, but I love it.
I need to make the binding on it, so I can start working on the binding when I get it trimmed.

I have a small UFO, Blue floral, to get loaded, quilted, and bound before I get crowned Queen on Stashbusters.

During all this time, I'm also recovering from QuiltFest, DS & DDIL Baby Shower, and birthdays.

We have another birthday party Saturday for DD's boyfriend.
The kiddos will come over and play games all day and eat.
It is all set up from last weekend when we did the same thing for DD and DS.

Then, next Friday, we are doing something for DH for his birthday.

It is too much partying for me. LOL
It is wonderful to have our family together.

So, there is a little activity, but not as much as I would like.
Wishing for September to be a productive month!

Quilting and Rain

I wish I had photos to share, but I can not.

I am quilting a test quilt and have half a pass to go, but ran out of bobbin.

Once I get the machine cleaned and a new bobbin, it will be finished today.

We finally got some rain.

It is much needed, and we have been bypassed when others received rain last week.

It's a happy day.

Our dryer died yesterday.

It is ten years old, so it will have some trouble.

But, DH decided to clean it up before the repair people came on Friday.

It is trying to work now, so we will run some loads while watching TV this evening

I did make some pouches for the baby shower.

.

This way, we can keep an eye on it.

Holiday

I've been on vacation for the last week.

I thought I'd be able to post, but getting to my blog was more difficult than I thought.

So, I'll be downloading the photos and adding things to my blog.

My DD even made a wall hanging.

She is finishing up her Master's and had summer school going on.

She had three papers to finish during vacation because it was finals week.

She finished summer school with all A's.

Then, we played.

We went to The OdySea and the Butterfly Getaway in Scottsdale, AZ.
I have other photos I need to get downloaded and added in.

I'm still around, and there will be baby shower planning this week, with the shower on Saturday.

Have a beautiful Sunday.
