Trip to Lake Palestine

DD and I took a girl's trip to Lake Palestine, Flint, TX 

We took sewing along.

It was a rest and sew weekend.

I did more resting than sewing.

I used up leftover blocks and made a table runner

This is for a pattern called 16-patch.

I have 8 for of this block to make and then on to the other two blocks.

I also worked on 16-Patch Delight.

I need 8 more of these and then two more block sets.

When I got home, I had a sewing day with a friend.

Made microwave bowl cozies.

These are fabric closet safes. 

They are for when you travel and want to stash some valuables.

Hanging in your closet, they appear to be part of your clothing.

I need to load some things on the long arm and quilt them.

I've not long armed since the end of July.
