2. WITB
Had two of my bags that I sometimes use to go through my purse, the car, etc.
This one had lots of magazines and fun things in it, along with filing.
I found all the items DD got from all over on for her Gold Award.
Just one of the letters.
Seems I'm having some trouble with my camera. :(

I actually finished all the filing in the container by my chair.
Everything is filed.
I do have my lists that I need to figure out how to arrange them so they are not clutter, but can be seen to be worked on.
That will be when we return from Dallas.

Generally my flat surfaces are not ones to stay empty.
Why? Who knows.
I would like us to work on the flat surfaces this week.
Show before and after photos.

I've been working on the flat surfaces, but when I think I have one cleared off, I find that I put more stuff on it. ;(
I have not idea why I can't let a flat surface be empty.
I'll have to work on that through the year.

New Braunfels Area Quilt Guld

I had my quilt guild meeting today.
What a fun time.
Gyleen Fitzgerald was the speaker.
What a happy person with lots of information about color.
Seems the two speakers I've really enjoyed have been talking about color.

During the meeting, they give away door prizes.
I won.
That's a Texas panel with some burgundy stars.
I need burgundy fabrics for DD and her projects, so that is wonderful.
The Texas panel is something I think I'll be making up for my DH.

I almost never win anything, so this was really unexpected and appreciated.

Prairie Moon Organization Challenge

There is a monthly challenge at Prairie Moon.
You know me, anything that makes me accountable is something I need.
My sewing machine drawer of thread.
I donated so many of them to a friend that now it is easy to deal with.
I just sorted these by color, so I hope I don't have much to do with them.
Embroidery thread.
Long Arm Thread
This is the box I need to figure out where to put the thread.
I hope I have some room in the drawers below.
all Long arm Thread.

I'll see what I actually work out by the end of March/Middle of April.

Changed my Mind

So, I had all the leftover pieces and parts I was trying to put into this quilt.
I didn't like it.
Then, I saw something like this on Facebook and thought I'd try to make it work.
I'm not sure if I want to add another row of squares to make it longer or not.
I'll sew this together and then see.
The bottom corner will be a 4" block in the center and the squares around it.
Wish I had a 4 but I don't.
All of these are either from the 2.5" drawer or cut from scraps.
Takes a bit longer to get it ready to sew to cut from scraps, but I'm using what I have.

Guild Challenge

This is actually the leftover pieces from the other two table runners.
A pillow to match.
I don't know why I can't get a good photo of it.

Mu Rug trade

This is wonderful from Ireland.
Miriam made it.
