First UFO Quilted

The first graduation quilt is quilted.

I think it is pretty.
This is for someone doing graduate work in England.
She wants to travel, so it seems perfect.

I don't have a good photo of it.

I have been doing great at working on small things every day for organizing.
My sewing time seems to be fairly consistent.
Some days it is a small amount, but others I sew all day.

Quilting is more fun than Housework has us working on scraps.

I have not done specific scrappy projects this week.
I am stuffing a floor pillow with scraps, does that count?

Update

It might not be quilting, but this crochet project took forever to stitch together.
I had safety-pinned every block side together and it was interesting to make sure to sew each of those sides. LOL
But, it is done.
Love the colors.

This project is tiny hexagons.
Since they are so small and the fabrics are not cotton, it is difficult to get them to stay glued to the tiny cardstock.
I'm using the wonder clips to keep them together.
I sewed one last night
Some of those sides still need to be held together.
This will be something that is framed, so I hope I can put it all together.
It is made from clothing.

Design Wall Monday

I have figured it out enough to have the center ready to sew together.
Now on to the borders.

The top and backing are made.
I wanted to quilt it on Tuesday, but I just couldn't do it.
I had a bad night of sleep and didn't want to risk it.
Maybe on Wednesday

I spent two of the days working on projects for graduation.

Quilting is more fun than Housework has us working on scraps.

I have some postcard swaps and the first place I look is my scrap drawer.

Then, my little foxy pincushions come from scraps first.
