Small Quilts and Doll Quilts 

My design walls are a bit bare.

I still need to work on this peach and green quilt.

I've also added the Stashbuster #32 UFO pick on the wall. 

This was from a block swap and my partner stopped swapping. 

I stopped making her blocks halfway into the year-long event.

I think I will be making this into a table runner.

I had these stripe and gold fabrics in the UFO cabinet, but I have no idea why.

They can be used for this project too.

My second design wall is a mess.

I need to finish these T-shirt pillows and with them hidden away, they will never get done.

So, I hung them on the design wall.

Once I start them, it won't take long to finish the 9 pillows.

It is in process but still needs to be put together.

Other things took priority this week.

2. I must also cut a peach and green quilt for more variety.

I am delaying on this one and have no idea why.

It is loaded to be quilted.

4. Stashbusters have already put out the May numbers.

I pulled the small fall quilt, and it is on the design wall.

5.  The last thing I did was going to be pillows.

The top is done and ready to quilt.

It is quilted and ready to bind.

My design walls are a bit bare.

Everything I had on them is now off, except for the small peach and green blocks.

 

I am going to start on the memory quilt by cutting 5" strips.

There might be a time before that actually goes together.

I still have some deconstruction to do, but it is time to start the next step.

I had a group of leftover pieces in fall colors that were started.

I then decided to raid my other box of leftovers, which I am adding to the quilt.

This is not normally my style, but I think I like it.

I have very few pieces left, but I think it is big enough.

Now to quilt it.

DONE 5. While pulling the Stashbuster numbers, I found a T-shirt quilt that is from someone else.

6. The last thing I did was going to be pillows.

The top is done and ready to quilt.

It is loaded to be quilted.

8. Bear Pillow

I had planned to make this years ago but ran out of time before the shower.

So, it became a UFO.

It and the Squirrel Pillows are now done and in Christmas packages.

6. I had a sew day with Michelle and Cathy.

I always have a bag with UFOs to take to Michelle's house.

Sometimes, it has things I won't do at home.

This time, it had tote bags.

I made four and finished three small UFOs from my list.

The first one was a camo bag.

I know this was for my husband, but I have no idea why it was this size.

It was all cut out and ready to go.

I had to quilt it and assemble it.

Next were the mesh bags.

I had this wild print with it.

Who was this for?

I don't know and can't figure it out.

This was one UFO, but I had leftover mesh and decided to make this one.

My DD liked this one best.

Crumb Fabric is NOT my thing, but I had tried the technique to put whatever came out of the container, and I hated it.

I didn't feel I could throw it away, so I'd been making canvas tote bags.

I think this is the last of that 'fabric'.

7. The last thing I did was going to be pillows.

But, again, I had no idea where the pillows were supposed to go.

Michelle and I decided a lap quilt would be fun to make.

It is very brown.

I embroidered horseshoes on a soft blue fabric.

Now to put it all together.

Small Quilts and Doll Quilts 

I am posting to the main site because I will not be available to post tomorrow.

The small peach and green blocks sitting to the left now have 5 blocks.  

The T-shirt quilt is ready to load and quilt.

My second design wall has The Fall Quilt from all the leftover pieces.

I sort of reminds me of the Gypsy Wife pattern, but I am not using a jelly roll.

To-Do-List April 2024

   My to-do-list for 2024 

This list will change throughout the year, but I must focus on completing these things.

1. Donna's memory quilt or two, depending on how it goes together.

I have the second box and have started deconstructing it.

I think I have decided on at least one of the patterns.

3. I'd like to make some memory teddy bears from Rob, Lillian, and Donna's leftovers.

4. Wedding quilt

I have 5 of the one block done.

I need to make 4 of the second block to ensure this will work.

I'm not sure how big it will become.

5. Ashley's High School Graduation Quilt

All the T-shirts are deconstructed.

8. Memory T-shirt Pillows for Lillian 

I've deconstructed all of them.

I've matched zippers to each T-shirt.

Now to get them finished.

9. At least one of the Stashbuster UFO numbers each month (12/24 in the year)

I'm using these as leaders/enders to prepare all the pockets, and then I'll put them all together at once.
