Design Wall Monday 4/29/2024

 Small Quilts and Doll Quilts Design Wall Monday

I have a signature quilt for my grandson.

The top is together. 

The small peach and green blocks sitting to the left now have 5 blocks. 

My second design wall has a miscellaneous T-shirt quilt given to me by a friend.

I also have a Fall Quilt top finished.

I need to find a backing for both tops.

My room is messy because DS put my batting roll on the long arm last night.

When batting is added, I always vacuum under the long arm, so I didn't have him put everything back.

That is a job for today.

Since her sister is having some big health problems, I thought this cheery wildflower pattern would be a great choice.

Finished or Not Friday 4/26/2024

         "Finished or not Fridays" 

Well, it has not been a great finishing week.

I think I was overloaded last week, and we had many appointments this week.

DONE 1. My other project is from my guild, which needs to be finished for the Emporium during our quilt show.

2. I must also cut a peach and green quilt for more variety.

I am delaying on this one and have no idea why.

I did make 4 more blocks, but I don't have a photo.

3. Piece Off Kilter

It is in process but still needs to be put together.

4. Grandson's signature quilt

I have worked on some of these, but I need to cut more base squares from the white before finishing the star blocks.

5. Stashbusters have already put out the May numbers.

I pulled the small fall quilt, and it is on the design wall.

6. While pulling the Stashbuster numbers, I found a T-shirt quilt that is from someone else. (see above)

I pulled it and need to figure out the coping sashing to get it done.

That should not take long to finish.

Even though it is not on any list, it is one of my UFOs which were given to me.

Design Wall Monday for 4/22/2024

Small Quilts and Doll Quilts Design Wall Monday

I have a signature quilt for my grandson.

He was very ill at birth, and we had doctors and nurses sign the squares.

We also have those who attended the baby shower sign squares.

I'll be making more blocks around the outside to increase the size of the quilt and allow for any additional signatures.

 
The small peach and green blocks sitting to the left now have 5 blocks. 

My second design wall is empty.

I'm not sure what is going up there for now.

I have some smaller items not on the design wall to finish first.

Design Wall Monday 4/15/2024

   Small Quilts and Doll Quilts Design Wall Monday

One of my design walls has two of the same panel quilts.

I've just started figuring out how to border it.

I also have a signature quilt for my grandson.

He was very ill at birth, and we had doctors and nurses sign the squares.

We also have those who attended the baby shower sign squares.

I'll be making more blocks for around the outside to increase the size of the quilt and allow for any additional signatures.

The other design wall is a guild donation quilt.

I am in the process of sewing the rows together.

Great Saturday Sewing Day

Blitz congratulated Ashley for completing her Challenge top.

Ashley and Michelle making pop up trash cans.

I was helping with instructions, so I decided not to make another one.

Ashley and Jon gave me a Birthday gift.

I love it, Other Child 1 & 2.

I used a leftover jelly roll from the guild to make a lap quilt.

  

It's Christmas in April.

Michelle made me an adorable bag with all the sewing fabrics she used.

I also work on the Off Kilter quilt.

It is a test quilt, so I'm unsure if I can show a photo yet.

It was a fun and productive day.
