Prairie Moon Organizing Challenge

Prairie Moon does a monthly organizing challenge.

January's Challenge is to Put Away Stray Fabric.

I keep the pieces from when I'm working on a project in a bin.

It is overflowing.

I'm not sure when I'll tackle this because I need to finish some other things first.

I've put it away, but then I do something else, and it is right back where it was, but with a different fabric.

I cleared out the bin twice during the month.
My fabric is in their home.

This is definitely a never-ending battle.

100 Block challenge

I've kept up with the Tula 100 block challenge.
We are on week 3.

Design Wall Monday 1/20/2025

  Design Wall Monday

Small Quilts and Doll Quilts

I have a couple of projects started and on the design wall.

Berry Basket is made from my bonus HST.
I am missing one of my containers with more white/color HST
I need to cut the background so I can start putting this together.

This is a memory quilt.

100 Modern Blocks Quilt Along

We are supposed to do a block a day.
This week is 6-10.
I do better if I can do them all at once.

I'm using my scrap florals with some type of green in each block.
All of my fabric is coming from my scraps.

Snow

Snow in Texas is not much for those up north, but everything is shut down here.

I planned on sewing with a friend, but I don't know if the roads are icy.
Maybe later today, we can sew together.

New Braunfels Area Quilt Guild

We needed to change our location yesterday because of a conflict at our normal meeting place.

We met at the Cibolo Grange and held a workshop where we made tote bags for Quilts For Those in Need charity.

It was a long and productive day.
