Design Wall Monday

 I'm linking to

I'm linking to  More pineapples and the sunflower wall hanging.
The sunflower placemats are hiding behind the wall hanging.
I hope to get them quilted today.
This is the Lucky 7 COVID class by Gyleen Fitzgerald.

Long day

As wonderful it is to quilt all day long, it makes me tired. 😀

I finished the four masks that were already prepped.
I'm planning on keeping them in a plastic bag in the car in case I run into someone that needs a mask.
Part of the monthly "decorations" that I make, I make a bandana for Diesel.
Now, Diesel has a friend, Pi, and I'm making matching ones for him.
To go along with the Sunflower theme this month, I found this panel and made a wall-hanging for the girls.
They want to decorate all in sunflowers, so this should help.

Now to get the placemats and wall hanging quilted.

This is the COVID-7 Lucky 7 quilt.
I have one more set of blocks to make and I can start putting it together.

I'm exhausted, so it is about time to call it a night.

October placemats

I love these placemats.

There are some months when I've not been thrilled with my placemats, but I love these.

The girls wanted to decorate in sunflowers for September.
I made four placemats.
I love this brown fabric.
I wish I had more of it.

Before I can quilt them, I need to use some of this fabric for another project and then I'll see what I put on the back.

I'm bringing it upstairs and deciding if I'm keeping it or passing it on.

Kate at Life in Pieces is doing the challenge of 15 minutes of sewing.
My week had me have two days where the sewing time was only about 20 minutes, and then I had a day I went to visit DD and didn't get anything done in my studio because I stayed the night.
It was well worth it.

Quilting is more fun than Housework has us working on scraps.

All I seem to be doing is working with scraps.
Does that mean my scraps drawers and bins are being reduced?
I'm not so sure.
Pineapples are coming along.
Maybe 20 more to do, if I don't make it larger.
This swap block process was using all my scraps.
The brown one is the block I did.
I used brown in the corners because that was my color.
All the cornerstones were scraps.
Gyleen Fitgerald is having her COVID 7 class and this is where we are so far.
This is all from my scrap drawers.
It's a bad photo for some reason my camera is having trouble.

Block Swap

The top is done.

COVID classes

This is the Gyleen Fitzgerald COVID-5 class.
Lorena quilted it for me and I finished binding it tonight.
It is fairly large since it is on the top of a King bed.
Bad photo, but this is the Gyleen Fitzgerald COVID-7 class.
I still need to make the center blocks and sashing to begin to sew it together.

Both of these are 100% from my scraps or yardage in my stash.
Nothing bought for either one.
I had the backing fabric too.

Swap center done

I found myself on the phone waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting in the IRS.
Let's just say I had this webbed and decided that I couldn't do anything that took too much brainpower while I waited, so I sewed this center together.
I love these blocks.
I need to make 4 HST and put the border on.
