Saturday Progress

I was happy to be able to stay in today and sew.
The baby red work is in a top.
Now to find the backing and binding.
I need to make two more blocks to have my 20 blocks for this QOV.
I know it needs to have a sashing to break up the "sampler" blocks.
Some turned out better than others, but I'm overall happy.

NOTE: All qualifying finishes must be posted BEFORE midnight (EST) on June 30, 2019!!!

My List will include
1. Patriotic pieces
I want this to be finished into a Quilts of Valor

2. Old Quilt
I want this to be quilted and bound.

3. Redwork pieces
I want this to be finished for a donation quilt for my guild.

4. Framed 4 patches
I don't know what I'll do with this, but the pieces are all ready to be sewn.

5. Cozy Kitten Mystery
I have a few more blocks to make and then put this into a top. It was started in 2004.

6. Baby Clothing quilt
I need to cut these baby clothing pieces into 2.5" squares and sew them randomly together.

I'd like to make progress on all of these in the next 3 months.

UFOs

My patriotic UFO is coming along.
I'm thinking I'm going to run out of pieces and might have to become more creative here.
I know I have lots of HST, so I need to pull them out and see what I can add to this mix.
This is the leader/ender that I am working on while doing the Patriotic UFO.
I decided I didn't like what I had in the bottom left, so I'll stitch out a number 4 on muslin for that corner.

Guild Hospice project

The guild does a hospice project where the kids get to use crayon to draw what they like.
We then take the picture and make it into a wall hanging.

I took one the last meeting and it needs to be back at the April meeting.
I used their instructions and did the binding by machine. :)
We know how I "love" machine binding.
I outlined the pictures to be the quilting in the center.

QOV

Finished quilting the QOV that I've been loading all week.
My JOT (Just One Thing) was to load a side.
I didn't have a great quilting week, so I'm happy to have accomplished this.
Getting ready to trim it and then get the binding on it so I can work on it while headed to San Marcos tomorrow.
