I've not dropped off the face of the earth, but it felt like that for awhile. I'm finally getting over my virus that knocked me out.
I have been quilting QOVs and other people's things. I've not used much of my own things up, but I have been accomplishing stuff.
I'll be posting more later.

busy busy
I have tested some embroidery designs
Can't get the Easter egg photo to turn.
Aren't these adorable?
A thimble - at least the 10 year olds thought so. I love this Easter basket
I had fun doing the stitch outs.
I made one of the baby heart strings quilts.

I finished the wall hanging
for my class and now need to do some prep work for the next one. I would like to try this one again. Maybe in different colors.
I finished the quilting and binding on the Texas quilt.

quilting
Long arm
I've been home with an ill child.
this is her new bathing suit. How can this child just be 10???? So, I loaded some quilts and finished a few things.

This first one was done when I was asked to help with this quilt. They sent me the blocks and wanted it put together and quilted.
I used my backing and binding, so I actually busted some stash. It turned out really big and beautiful. I finished the binding yesterday.

I did this quilting for Sandy, my neighbor.
I love this quilt. Her color and fabric choices are yummy.

My camera is not taking very good photos, but they are document.

working a bit
I stitched out this little chocolate bunny.

I also made this little portable design board.
It helps when working on small projects. I used leftover flannel, but anything can be used. It was a fun project.

I quilted this baby quilt for Marianne.
I did quilt another one for Marianne.
I made biased binding for both and will attach them and mail to Marianne soon.

While working on these, I'm making 1" hst for the little wall hanging from class. I have the center done, and plan on using it for a table decoration, so I think I won't worry about it being perfect. I have one row that is less than perfect.
DD is not feeling well, so I might have a child home tomorrow.

sunday accountabilty
I didn't get to post last weekend, because it was Girl Scout Cookie weekend. DD had 4 booths and a neighborhood walk to sell her 500 boxes of cookies. She is within 6 boxes and we decided to just buy them instead of being out again this weekend.
I used 8 yards for a backing of a slanted star quilt. I did not make all the blocks, so I can't count them in my usage, but, I did use my fabric for the backing.
I made a couple of love blocks, but don't think I took photos of them. :(
Other than that, I have been doing GS stuff.
Fabric usage goal (100 yards)--(84.40) yards to go
Fabric Added This Week -- 0 yards
Fabric Added Year to Date -- 20 yards
Fabric Used This Week --8.17 yards
Fabric Used Year to Date -- 35.60 yards
Fabric Used this month -- 11.93 yards
Net fabric used year to date: -15.60 yards
Judy is having us do the check in again this year. Accountability is a good thing!

a day of enjoyment
I've been able to quilt some this weekend. It was my Jo's class yesterday. We are making baskets. 4" baskets.
Yikes! LOL

I even won a door prize for completing the project last month.
I don't think this one will be done as quickly, but that is OK, I'm learning lots.
I also quilted this frog baby quilt for Marianne.
Isn't it fun? I need to make the bias binding and attach it for her. I used lime green thread
on the front and blue on the back. This is one of those fun baby quilts.

Mary told us how to make a small portable design board to take to class when you are working on small projects. I have the pieces ready to do that too.
