The yellow and green rail fence is quilted. Well, this was more of an effort than it needed to be. When I loaded and rolled the quilt, the backing was not long enough. It was very short to begin with, but I had hoped it would be OK. Well, I was wrong. So, I had to unload it, cut off some of the sides and piece to the bottom. It turned out OK, but with VERY little leftover.
Now, here is her next quilt. I am at a loss on how to quilt it. Any suggestions? The backing has leaves on it.
So, while I wait for inspiration, I'm going to go on and quilt another quilt.
I have just finished making binding for the QWLs and that box is taped and ready to mail tomorrow. Yea!!!!
I put the binding on by machine on the Feathered Star -- now to finish it by hand as I have the time, probably at Karate tomorrow night.
Beautiful quilts. Sorry Ican't give you any ideas on the pinwheel quilt.

ReplyDeleteHi Mel, beautiful as always. did you say there are leaves on the back of the quilt?
ReplyDeleteperhaps use those as a guide to quilt the front-a leaf motif all over
