Thank you.

pin cushions

I needed 6 pincushions for a guild game night.
I had the little custard cups and used the foxy fabric.
One FQ used.
I feel good to have finished these.
My first "sewing" in three weeks.

Floor pillow

This floor pillow is for DD.
It has been in the making for more than a year now.
I've had trouble every step of the way.
But, today, I felt good enough to add another trash bag full of cut-off pieces.
It still needs more filling
I have two inner pillows to fill so it is comfortable to sit on.
I've been saving all those trimmings for years to use in dog pillows.
But, the shelter is not wanting them because if the dog chews an opening it is a mess. 😕
So, I decided to use those and the small batting pieces to stuff this pillow.
I would LOVE to get this done in May.

COVID has killed my stitching and organizing numbers.
I am feeling better, so I plan to work on more coasters this coming week.

Quilting is more fun than Housework has us working on scraps.

No quilting is happening at this point.
I need to get a couple of postcards done, so I imagine they will be from scraps.

Wow, what a ride

I have been missing in action.

I had not touched my sewing machine since the 26th.

Why?

I developed a fairly severe case of COVID.

I have been down for the count.

The place I might have caught it was at my large quilt guild.

That is the only thing on the timeline that fits.

I was hospitalized for four days and am still on oxygen.

But, I am on the mend and doing better every day.

Absolutely nothing but sleeping and coughing has been happening in my life.

Well, things have been happening, but not with me involved.

My daughter graduated from Texas State University with her Bachelors in Social Work.

She graduated with honors.

The husband and two kiddos

Does she look wet?
Well, yes she is.
The tradition is to jump into Sewell Creek after the ceremony.
She loved that.
She will go on to her Master's in August.
We are so proud of her.

I am hoping my energy levels come back soon and I can do something other than rest.
If you are the praying type, please keep me in your prayers.
