I really enjoyed seeing how many days I actually quilt.
I think I organized more this year because of the type of year it was.

This was not my best year, but it is in the top 5. :)
I bought more fabric this year, but much of it was the wide backs.
2008 was my no buy year.
I look at the amount of fabric I have in the cabinet and then in the scrap drawers and wonder why I need to buy anything.

In 2015 I started counting the number of blocks I make each year.

I don't count until the project is done or the block leaves my house.

I may not actually make the block in the year I count it because if the UFO is put back into the cabinet, it won't be counted until the UFO is finished.

I've slowed down on the number of UFOs I've completed, but I think some of that is because I have the more complicated ones left.

I'm wondering if I need to focus on something else and let the UFOs go for a year.

I'm still debating that thought.

I still like my challenges and will continue with some of them.

I put them all in one place.

The second half of the year was not as productive as the first.

I'm not sure if that was because I worked on some of the ones in the first half during the second or I was just not as productive.

  I don't think I'll join in on the color challenges this year and the 20 minute challenge did nothing for me accomplishing things.

I'm looking forward to 2019 and appreciate being able to have some accountability during the year.

Dragonfly

I quilted the dragonfly quilt with loops.

Isn't that how a dragonfly flies?

Now to get the binding ready and finish this up.

Pixie Garden

My All People Quilt UFO # 3 is Pixie Garden.

I pulled my pixie garden and found I have the one block (1st row center) that needs tiny circles.

I'll try one more time and if I don't get them, I'm using baby buttons or satin stitch.

Then, there is a dragonfly block that I didn't even have printed off.

Thank goodness it was saved on the computer.

I've printed it and tomorrow will use my window to trace it and get the applique going.

Then, I pulled the fabrics that are used for the finishing of the blocks.

I think this is going to be cute.

Purple Project Bag

I took a class for this at the Cotton Boll Quilt Shop.

I made two the night I took the class and made another one today.

I think the class was well worth taking.

This is one of my UFOs because I started it when I took the class.

New Years Day

The day was not exactly how I wanted it to be, but I did get some things accomplished.

This is how I started off the New Year with my pressing station.

Lots of things put away.

A gift that needs one more item and I can get it mailed. 

First UFO finish is these musical paper pieced blocks.

I ended up deciding to make them into post cards because I need something to mail to DD each week.

This covers me for January. 

Dragonfly is in top form.

I need to find backing or pieces to make the backing and then get it quilted.

January UFO Challenge

In 2018 I joined in on quite a number of Challenges to help me focus on my UFOs and such.

I love the accountability and will keep reporting, even if I'm behind

I'm putting them all in one post because it's easier to keep track of. 

This is the current status of the projects I've NOT completed.

2019 will have fewer challenges that I'll be joining in on.

This update will delete all the older items I didn't finish.

If I finished it, I'll include it this month. :)

I'll continue this one because I can pick what I want to work on for the current month.

I seem to have more success with this type of challenge.
