CIL #12

I have finished the binding on the Covered In Love #12,
They are packaged and ready to mail on Monday.
This is the last quilt I have from someone else.
I still have 2 of my own and 2 pillow shams to quilt.
It all feels good.

Elm Street

I've finished this for the Elm Street challenge.
It's been a bit since I've actually accomplished something, so it feels good.

Something positive

I've been playing around with postcards.
Today is my small group, so I should be having some success in quilting.

Have a blessed day.

Design Wall Monday

I'm linking to Small Quilts Doll Quilt's Design Wall Monday.
I found more squares for this second pillow sham.
If I'd just focus, it would be done fairly quickly.
I need for blues cut.
I need to cut the white for the star block.
Windowsills is coming along.
I need to color the alternate squares for the friendship stars and then sew them together.
I need to make two more 4 patch rows and 2 log cabin rows.
Not a difficult thing to do, but my seams are off somehow and I need to figure it out.
After quilting the CIL, I decided the bin of my cut offs needed to be worked on.
This is the mess that made. LOL
I now need to put them away so I can trim the CIL and get the binding on it.

I keep reminding myself that I can only take one step at a time and keep on working at getting this studio back into shape.
This is my week to do what I want between appointments.

Motivational Monday

16 -22 September 2018

1. Quilt CIL

2. Postcards
I think I mailed a couple of other ones already.
But, I still need to finish the Autumn ones
Finished my coffee ones.
This is probably the postcards I need to do for now.
Off to work on something else.

3. WITB
I had a horrible time faxing records to the VA.
But, after I got over being frustrated, I ended up going through these WITB.
These bags get used for everything under the sun.
They are used to clean out the car, pick up stuff around the house....
So, many of the items are not quilting items, but this one had a pattern I was looking for.
this one was full of mostly paperwork.
I did almost empty it and then decided to get rid of the red purse that has been here for ages.
All the extra stuff in there went back into the blue bag. :(
Hoping to get all the way through that bag this week.

23 - 29 September 2018

1. Quilt Sparkling Sampler
2. WITB
3. Finish Tammy's Sampler
4. Cut TQPM Test quilt
5. Put fabric away
6. Work on baby clothing quilt
